James berryhill: technical communicator
My name is James Berryhill. I am a technical communicator, and below is my professional portfolio consisting of various writing and video samples I made while pursuing a certification in technical communication at the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
Besides writing, my greatest passion is music, and many of my projects lean into this special interest. I have written a teaching guide for new guitar instructors, made user help videos detailing how to use specific musical equipment, and made a video RFP application on behalf of a music education non-profit.
Music is not my only strong suit, though. I have also written an extensive XML guide, detailing the basics of using this markup language. Below you will also find a book review for Information Experience, a work dedicated to new insights into technical communication and user experience design. Additionally, I have written a mechanical user help guide for fixing issues with an electric trolling motor on a Ranger bass boat.
On other parts of this website, you’ll also find my personal blog, dedicated to all of my creative endeavors. My creativity is undoubtedly my greatest asset; I love channeling my artistic spirit into every creative and professional endeavor I pursue.
